Chino High School

Arelle Middleton has been a dominant force for Chino High this season, winning both shot put and discus at the Mt. Baldy League Championships and earning recognition as the league’s Female Field Event MVP. During the CIF Playoffs, she claimed the CIF-SS Division 2 prelims title with a 41′ 1¾″ throw in shot put, solidifying her status as one of Southern California’s top competitors. At the CIF State Championships, Arelle placed an impressive 4th in the able-bodied shot put and shattered the para-division state record she had set in 2023 with a throw of 43′ 9½″, earning her the championship title. That mark also set a new world record in the F44 classification, and Arelle won for Team USA in para shot put at Nike Nationals in Eugene, Oregon last most setting the American Record with a throw of 12.99 meters

She is competing in India in two weeks with Team USA at Worlds.
