Parents/guardians of any student residing within the CVUSD attendance boundary may apply to enroll their student in a CVUSD school other than their residence school through the district’s Intradistrict Open Enrollment process. Open Enrollment transfer applications for the 2026–2027 school year will be available online from November 3, 2025 (7:30 a.m.) through December 5, 2025 (4:30 p.m.). On December 4, 2025, Juniors and Seniors are invited on a field trip to tour the ABC SoCal training facilities where they can learn more about their Apprenticeship Program and Trade School Program.  ABC has Plumbing, Electrician, Sheet Metal, Low Voltage, and HVAC Programs.  To sign up and pick up a permission slip, students can visit the Career Center, Room A157. Permission slips are also available on the Career Center Website. Only students who have not previously attended this trip may sign up.  Limited spots available.

Student may come to the CHS Library Monday - Thursday for free tutoring. See schedule below In Person in the school Library: Monday and Wednesday from 3:30 - 4:30 pm with Chino High Teachers Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 - 5:00 pm with Upward Bound program Online: Paper app - available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can find the app in your Classlink. It also pops up as an icon when you are in Google Class.

Chino High will have no school for our winter break beginning on Thursday Dec 18 running through January 2nd. All students and classes resume on Monday January 5th, 2026. We wish all our Cowboys and their families a safe and happy Holiday season.
